Options Trading For Beginners (Growing a Small Account)

Start by enrolling in a Trading 101 Class: http://bit.ly/Trading101Class // Description In this video we talk about trading with a small account then the things that come with it. Most people get into the world of day trading with no experience and quickly learn it becomes very expensive, very quickly if you don't know what you're doing. The concept we discuss here is trading small, meaning, you use $500 a trade or less simply buying calls or puts on stocks. The idea is that instead of buying shares in a company that can cost a lot, to replace them with options. This is a simple strategy that anyone can use and it works typically with smaller accounts because of the leverage options provide. Many day traders get into day trading shares, which worked well in the early 2000's, for most day trading today, people use E-Mini futures. The thing with options is that there really is no day trading. Typical holding times are 1-4 days with this style of trading which means you don't have to be stuck at the computer all day watching the screens until your eyes turn red. The Remora Options Course is a beginner options trading program for novice to beginner investors. This is where 90% of all of our students begin since you start on the 101 series then work your way up with a few strategies using case studies directly from your instructor. The great thing is that the case studies come from actual live account trades and range from $500-$7000 dollar trades so you can watch a live trade, hear the analysis, then see how they repeat. The defining part of this method is that we only focus on 20 stocks. You watch 20 stocks and trade calls and puts on them, that's it. The program is 100% self study and contains over 10+ hours of course material and lectures. // Additional Course Benefits: 1 Month Access to our Shark Chat Room (24/7 Trading Community) Discounted Trading Commissions with our TD Ameritrade Partner The Landshark Trading Template for Think or Swim // Contact: 1-855-800-1875 // Enroll in a Trading 101 Class http://bit.ly/Trading101Class // Disclaimer: https://www.landsharkeducation.com/risk-disclosure.html

  1. Does NOT tell ANYTHING about about HOW to trade options. Complete waste of 28 mins.
  2. what are the best brokers or brokerage outlets that offer option paper trading (demo)??.....subscribed, liked.
  3. I'm confused, you said to do a call/put and not selling it? I thought t b e whole point of doing a call/put is to wait till you start making $ and then sell before the expiration date?:at least this has been the wa u it was explained to me.
  4. remora is a bottom feeder so i already lost interest
  5. Do you think it's possible to start trading options with $300 $500 to start out with / mini contracts
  6. sounds good
  7. What sites should someone who's trading option starting out on?
    Fidelity??
  8. I'm trading in a small account with capital one investment
  9. great vid sharky, i've learned a lot from it...i will visit your page now :(
  10. You have to be tier 2 .. And new small amounts are denied options only tier 1.. Basic stock buys!
  11. Selling options you have Time decay in your favor. If you are trading for montly income always keep your deltas neutral, watch closely gamma since gamma gets very sensible in the last weeks close to expiration week. Never forget to keep your eyes on tune with vega and volatility .
  12. very informative video!! Now the only thing I do not agree with you is the statement you make about selling options. For example vertical spreads are no different the buying the option. The only thing is that you have time decay in your favor. You make money if it goes in your direction and on the time value. Now when you buy an option not only the stock has to move, but also it must be in a fast maner or your fighting time decay. Best way to find out either if its the best time to buy or sell is by analizing the volatility. thank you for the great info.!!
  13. I like your video as it touches on some very good points. However, how do you get approved to trade options with a small account of say...$2,000.00? It seems most people can only get approved for covered calls and puts with a small account which really defeats the purpose of trying to trade with a small account.
