Options Trading Strategies - Strangles | The Webinar

A Strangle is a neutral options trading strategy that's placed by selling a call and selling a put at the same time. The assumption of the trade is that the price of the stock stays above the put strike and below the call strike at expiration. In this episode of our Options Trading Strategies series, Ryan and the man across from him, Beef Hart, discuss strangles. The guys walk through the trade in the dough trading platform, explaining how it works and when we use this strategy. 1. I'm only tier 2 so only can due buy calls and puts so I can't sell the strangle or can I do a long strangle which would let me buy a call and a put.? Thanks.
