Sooooo basically this song was written in one night, Phil was on a Beach in Miami and witnessed a murder, he called 911, murderer got away, he wrote the song that night, then the following night at his concert he saw the murder in the front row and called him out prior to the song saying "i wrote you a song" and stared at him the whole time, listen to the song again and appreciate the lyrics you'll see
