Print Finishing with Knife and Routing Tools | CNC Router | AXYZ International

AXYZ International http://www.axyz.com The AXYZ machine can have both knife and routing heads fitted that will work seamlessly with the AXYZ Vision System, a high performance camera which quickly finds and recognises registration marks and adjusts the machine cutting path to achieve exact alignment with printed shapes. This makes the cutting out of pre-printed graphics now even more affordable. This particular video shows 3mm Forex being cut with a knife and 4mm ACM being routed. 3. Hi Dave Thanks for your comments . We find we get best results using a 6mm Belin tool which you can find on cncroutershop. We tend to cut this material dry and can get a good finish at anything from about 4m/min to 10m/min conventional cutting works best.
  4. Hello, Great videos you demo here. We have the AXYZ 4008 model. A great machine! I do have a question when cutting 3mm durabond. We use this material alot for our channel letter backs. What is the recommended feed rate and type of bit to use. I am using an 3/16 Onsrud 63-716 bit, and using the climb cutting mode. I have read online that many cut dry, some use lubricant, climb or conventional cutting modes. Confuse which works best. Is there a guide form I can follow? Thanks
  5. Hi Yes your absolutely right it could have been nested much closer but the main purpose of the demo was to show our camera registration system and multiple cutting heads.
  6. Hi, Seems like a lot of wasted material. Nesting is not optimized.
