Just doing the maths 145,000 pounds, 575 pounds a month. Means you make 6900 pounds a year rental income. 145,000 devided by 6900 means 22 years it would take for you to pay this off if I did my maths right. I'll round that up to 25 years taking into account maintenance etc. I saw this house in Detroit on Wendells channel 16k all up and running. rented for 500 a month. Do the maths came out to something like 3 years to have it paid for. Of course there you have to pay property tax etc plus BITH!
Great that the water heater, and all the copper in the walls is intact. This place seems to have good security so the boys in the hood won't mess the place up. If you want cheap property in Europe maybe you should consider Bulgaria. Type "cheap property in Bulgaria" into youtube. I don't know how much of a good deal it is in terms of being able to rent it out etc, but I'm sure you've looked into it. In the UK is it true that the tenant has to pay the property tax?
