Rich Dad’s Robert Kiyosaki Talks Second Chance with Matt Theriault

http://EpicRealEstate.com If you are like most listeners and guests of this show, the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad, was a complete game-changer and likely flipped the way you think about money and wealth upside-down. Today, Matt is sitting down with the man that started it all, Mr. Robert Kiyosaki, for an interview about his new book, Second Chance. Rich Dad, Poor Dad, written in 1997, taught us that our houses are not assets and that savers are losers. While understood by some, these statements challenged the prevailing financial wisdom and largely angered the public. He was crucified in the media, and considered a fraud by those who clinched tightly to what Kiyosaki calls their “middle-class mentality.” It wasn’t until 2007 with the subprime lending crisis, and again in 2008 with quantitative easing, that the world took notice: Robert Kiyosaki was right. In his newest book, Second Chance, Kiyosaki helps people understand the past so that they, too, can make accurate predictions about their financial future. He says of Second Chance, “My new book trains your mind to see what your eyes cannot.” What your eyes might not see is that, when choosing your financial strategy, there are actually 3 sides of a coin to choose from. The poor and middle class, along with their outmoded financial habits are on one side of a coin, with the rich and their financial habits on the other. When deciding the most ideal strategy for yourself, Kiyosaki argues that the best vantage point is the third side: the edge of the coin. “Intelligence occurs when you stand on the edge,” he says. So as you watch to today’s Financial Freedom Friday interview, ask yourself: Where are you standing? http://youtu.be/KRi2NdsZFfc

  1. The Second Chance seems to be like a worth-reading book.
The most impressive lesson I digested after watching this whole bunch of video is that debts & taxes make the rich more rich, the poor more poor.
But my question is, does the theory in the book adapt to my country- China?
  2. I love this guy.. Thank you, sir!! :)
  3. Robert is selling snake oil

  12. the theory doesn't work, because the knowledge is not enough
  13. Rich Dad Poor Dad taught me the value of leverage. Changed my life and income forever.
  14. robert kiyosaki is all truth! he speaks against all those who trying to dumb people down and keep people poor, free energy would be available by now if people who robert kiyosaki meant doesnt exist. i dont understand why some people think robert is a big time liar(some may purposely attacking robert)... well i advise u to think again, there are really a group of people who created school for a specific purpose + thats not all, they created war, inflation, never ending debt and so on and so on. do ur own research

  18. Before the housing market crashed in 2004/5. You could see the writing on the wall that lending was too lax. If you could fog a mirror, you got a stated ikcome loan. I was a mortgage lender just starting out my career. I was in my last year of college. I jumped ship from mortgages into financial services. It's the only profession that you don't need any experience to start. You just have to pass a few hellacious tests. Series 7, 66, 31, cfp bla blah. I raised about $300 plus million in 8-9 years but I my self was not yet rich giving financial advice to others. You don't even need a degree. But when I learned to "wholesale" real estate and got more involved with real estate. Nothing about investing in stocks made any financial sense. Not my bag of tea when it comes to managing risk. Wholesaling is buying and selling realbestate with no money pr credit. It just takes time expertise and a small marketing budget to get started. My point is. Kiyosaki is the man and preaches truth. Its so nonsensical to go spend 40k-200k on a masters or a higher education that does not give you hands on vocstional skills. Real world hands on experience trumps a school degree any day in my book. Besides 35% of billiomaires including the richest, Bill Gates and Zuckerberg continue to prove that you don't need a degree. You neeed a why and a drive that is unshakeable and a plan or destination. Now go.

  19. THANKS INFORMATIVE
  20. Robert is just a legend.
