3. First, love the vids. Going to get started on Robinhood very soon. Taxes on dividend payments isn't exactly as you described. Dependent upon what tax bracket you fall into and length of time you hold the shares, you may pay 0%. Dividend investment strategies are great for those going long. Yes, there is truth to the 10-25% tax rate on dividends...this is why you must manage these strategies consistently and correctly. Avoid Uncle Sam!
