2. Important topic as well. Healthcare is very complex and a lot of work to get info you need. I also get the medical codes now because what they tell you and what they code is different. Also, since this is up to dr. it's very random, I feel. Took all my girls in for the same sickness this past winter. One of them saw a different dr. and was charged higher. They couldn't tell me why but wouldn't change what it was coded as. This is our first year on HSA. It has been a learning curve and they are very reluctant to tell you the prices, both the medical practice and the insurance company.

4. Great advice! When I was pregnant my ob Doctor wanted to do the routine ultrasounds at office but I work at a hospital that if I did my ultrasounds at hospital it would be paid at 100 percent instead of deductible at dr office. So i decided to do at hospital which the doctor kept saying there not looking for what I'm looking for so he would make me feel bad. You really got to be aware of what your ins cover.
5. I m a Stay-at-Home Mom, my husband usually pays all the bills and does savings. I m totally blind-sided when it comes to financially matters, even though he discusses N informs before big purchases N investment, I m not aware of exact figures. how do you (couples) handle finance and stay on same page? can you do a video on this?

8. Very good information, Irfan! I have shopped around. I have also called the insurance company and ask where we could go that would be less expensive. Example..my husband had to have an MRI. The clinic where the dr. worked who wrote the prescription was going to charge $1000. I called the insurance company for places that were providers to his insurance. They gave us some places to call. We did and the cost was $800 less than the clinic where the dr. told him to have it done! Also, we have a dog who is 14 years old. We love her very much. Our vet. is a great guy but he mentioned maybe we should get an x'ray of her heart. She has end stage congestive heart failure. I ask him what he would do different if the chest x-ray showed further deterioration or enlargement of the heart. He said ...nothing. There is nothing left to do. I said ok lets just do palliative care and keep her comfortable. No more test. Thank you for the video. I think it is very informative.
