  1. Great video. Great explanation. I'm not a trader, yet, I'm kind a trying to understand how to get started. I have this unusual ability to identify junk. And I am usually right guessing on futures, need help brother. Hit me up if you have time to chat 5 min
  2. David;

    Here is what I am not understanding. A person buys a call option, they expect the stock to rise, say the strike price is $50 and in 60 days the stock goes to $80. The call buyer paid a $200 premium and the contract is for 100 shares. After 60 days, the buyer collects $30 X 100 = $3000 minus $200 for the premium. That a $2800 return in 60 days.

    WHO PAYS THE BUYER HIS $2800?

    Is the person who SOLD him the option shelling out $2800 from their own trading acct?
  3. Great video! Love the Sanford and Son reference.

    I get that high volatile markets mean bigger swings=bigger swings= people are more likely to freak (for the lack of a better term) and pay more for options. So if I sell an option, I'm essentially trying to keep the over bought premium (credit) that I receive.

    Question: When you buy options you can them sell back to the market and get out of the trade virtually whenever you want. However since you are selling, do you have to ride the option out all the way to expiration?
