Hi. For someone who has never done any sort of trading, where/how do you get started, if you want to trade online? Do you just need to open an account on one of those online trading websites and you're good to go?
pretty honest video. i just saw a bunch of videos about stock trading but they were just trying to sell their "strategy". all i can see from those videos are theyre just miserable flops trying to make money another way cuz their strategy clearly didnt work.
If you have less than $1000, you're forced to straight up Gamble and take large risks...that's because broker fees will Eat you alive mathematically. Most brokers will take 20% from each trade, so you need the stock to gain 30% JUST to barely break even and walk away with 10% profit, which is Nothing if you're only starting with a couple hundred bucks. The best advice, is to Save Up, get at least $1000-2000 minimum, then seek some guidance from Tim Sykes or many other successful penny traders. 95% of traders WILL lose their money in the end, because they start to gamble and break the simple rules and can't follow discipline...period. There's TONS of $$$ to be made in penny stocks, make no mistake, but you MUST be able to read charts, candle sticks, read company earnings reports, and CUT LOSSES QUICKLY! The biggest mistake people make is hanging onto a stock after it Drops...thinking it will come back up, problem is, by time it comes back up, you've Depleted your funds or lost SERIOUS amounts of money, now that stock has to come up DOUBLE, just to break even!!!. If a stock dips, GET OUT, cut your losses and move to another stock. Losing is part of the game, so accept that right now...which is why you program yourself to Get Out Quickly, and move to another stock...statistically you Will make money in the end by doing this, because you're keeping your Losses so small in the Overall picture.
How are you find penny stocks... where are they listed?
Sharebuilder has no level 2 (where you see the wall of buyers/bid and sellers/ask). Tried them, it is okay for newbies but it is still expensive as they charge .0007 per penny stock share under $1 or so + the 6.95 fee. For newbies with $100 or less i recommend Robinhood for starters no fee no minimum but no level 2. Ustocktrade is another option.
Im starting a video series FREE it will be on youtibe showing all live trades, started an account at 1,000 its up to 3,000 now but doing a small acount on the side to show people that were once like myself that you can start with as low aw 200 bucks dont listen to some people. 8 years ago made an acount with 20 bucks and turned it into 1,000 in a year which motivated me to do stocks and teaching full time.
