TD Asset Management opens Toronto Stock Exchange, April 4, 2016

Tim Wiggan, Chief Executive Officer, TD Asset Management joined Nick Thadaney, President and Chief Executive Officer, Global Equity Capital Markets, TMX Group to open the market to launch six new Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs): TD Canadian Aggregate Bond Index ETF (TDB); TD International Equity Index ETF (TPE); TD International Equity CAD Hedged Index ETF (THE); TD S&P 500 Index ETF (TPU); TD S&P 500 CAD Hedged Index ETF (THU); TD S&P/TSX Capped Composite Index ETF (TTP). TD Asset Management (TDAM), a member of TD Bank Group, is a North American investment management firm. As at March 31, 2016, there were 395 ETFs listed on TSX, with a total market capitalization of about $97 billion. With these listings, TD currently has six ETFs on TSX. TDB; TPE; THE; TPU; THU; and TTP commenced trading on Toronto Stock Exchange on March 30, 2016.
