Teaching Coins| Teaching Currency | US Coins | US Currency | Teching Coins for Kindergarteners

This is a video of a lesson I taught to help the children differentiate between the four standard US coins: Quarter, Dime, Nickel, and Penny. Little emphasis is placed on the value of the individual coins in this lesson. It is intended to teach the differences in the coins by visual discrimination.

  1. Anything 1964 and older is made of silver. Coins these days are made of clad. Basically 1965 and younger.
