1. Do you have to own 100 shares of the stock before you can write a contract? And if so, how do you get the money back from buying those shares? Im kind of new to selling options so sorry if this is an obvious question.
2. Best thing to do is sell puts with some verticals, it a great way to make money! I just find it more profitable and the probability of otm are good!
3. Altho selling naked put or call do yield more premium, but I notice that it consume more margin when the underlying move against us. Won't that be a point of considersation ?
4. 1 black swan will likely destroy everyone if it's that serious and you cannot manage that type of unexpected risk.
5. writting far OTM calls, low risk & low return on margin. Nothing particularly attractive about that at all. Also, 1 black swan event will destroy months of profits.... like playing Russian roulette.
6. Spreads have better risk/reward profile than naked options, plus the profit/margin ratio is much better
