The currency market is split into 3 main trading sessions. Zoe Fiddes, the Head of Sales at ORE Tech comments. It kicks off on Sunday evening so over in Australia, in the far east they start at about 10pm Sunday morning which is obviously their morning time and then this goes thru the night and then around 7am in the morning you will get your UK / European session and around 1 or 2 o'clock you get the American Session. The most active trading session is normally the European session due to the overlaps with the Asian and American markets.
