  17. On the topic, during March 22 this year the computer ran funds gave the Thailand Stock Ex. (SET) a huge headache. Prior to this day from March 19 we had a massive sell off -30 -25 -15 and on the 22 SET went -60 during the lowest point of the day. During that time we were dumbfounded as to how this happened because it wasn't a gradual slope down during the trading day but at 11:30am all stocks just dropped down at once. Why? Because the computers cut all margin which lead to a snowball effect.
