The ancients, after observing how the movements of heavenly bodies like the Sun and planets heralded a corresponding change in events on our planet, eventually came to believe that there was a causal relationship. Logically, then, ancient scholars began to study the heavens in order to better predict, and prepare for, the future. They also came to associate different heavenly bodies with their powerful gods- Mercury, Venus, Mars, Zeus (Jupiter) and Cronus (Saturn). Comments

  1. I think this one is pretty obvious Simon.
  2. Angry transgenders incoming....
  3. I found an error-text was physiological but narrated as psychological, ("For the purpose of clearly illustrating.." --Pliny Earle), Can I have a prize ?
  4. 2 genders Male, female or mentally ill.
  5. And there are only two genders.
  6. Wait... didn't you just say that a Lambda (Λ) represented unity to the Spartans? So wouldn't that be the reason they painted on their shields and that more people would do this? I'm confused
  7. The symbol for venus, females and copper resembles the Egyptian ankh.
  8. what were the other shorthand symbols? You mentioned that the other gods/bodies had symbols, what were those? (besides the male, female, and lambda symbols)
  9. 94 feminists saw this video
  10. 'physiological', not 'psychological'- you slipped up there.
  11. is it just me or does he say psychological instead of physiological at 2:37?
  12. scrolls down to comments

scrolls right the fuck back up
  13. at 3:07 ,
boy symbol in pink and girl symbol in blue.
I guess earlier scholars wanted opposite but what happened later is still unknown.......
  14. They chose the lambda because they're just Half-Life fans...
  15. The female symbol looks like an Egyptian cross
  16. DID YOU JUST ASSUMED THESE SYMBOL'S GENDERS?!!!
  17. Pretty sure that in physics and chemistry Lambda represents wavelength, not energy.
  18. That's a nice cardigan.
  19. You said "psychological" instead of "physiological" at one point :X
  20. To: 'Today I found Out' - Well that was a big fail.
All the other branchings actually applicable to the title made sense ...but why on Earth did you include 'promotional' sexual perversion (GAA / Gay [homosexul] Activists Alliance of New York) symbology at 3:16 to 4:06 (a full 40 seconds/ 16.26% of the actual content) ? By this same yardstick you should have also included 'Swinger' symbology (much more applicable, and well known), 'Queen of Spades' symbology, etcetera, which of course would have been ridiculous for this titled video. It's very disappointing that you 'deviated' through the 'bung hole' on a 'bent' path, rather than 'sticking' to the 'straight and narrow' (all puns intentional). Don't do it again.
