13. The author of this video forgets many things and straw mans his arguments. One thing I notice is that the author hates control, any kind of control and sees government entities, corporations, kings, clerics as evil. Society needs order in order to function, it needs a hierarchy. A basic example is a primitive village, you will always see an elder or council that dictate the lives of the populace and for good reason. Someone has to make the hard decision. Who will hunt? Who will stand watch for the night? These decisions are necessary for a community to thrive. We pay taxes so the government can use it to build roads, protect us with military against those who don't care about our rights.
    
    I will finish off by saying everyone has a measure of control over people. We are all "farmers" and we are all slaves (even the government). Also livestock has no voice and cannot speak out against its farmers, we can. We can change governments, legislation and laws.
14. I'm not sure what exactly this video is saying. Because we live in a free capitalist society where we work and pay taxes to a government that then uses the money to keep safety, order, provide services, and protect our rights, we are slaves? I dare you to go to some Third World country where slavery is practiced, look an abused, enslaved child in the eyes, and tell him all about how you are a slave and how your enslavement is just as bad if not worse than theirs. What are the alternatives to this terrible "slavery"? Communism? An anarchy in which there is nothing protecting your life and liberty, in which the people at the bottom of society are forced to fend for themselves with nothing, where crime is rampant and people are still just fighting each other for power to set up their own de facto regimes? The best possible system is one in which there is a free enterprise, but we still pay some taxes to a government that helps to protect our rights, provide safety and order, and give services to help those who are struggling. This video is just another attempt to seem edgy and philosophical when really it's just complete stupidity.

18. And the alternative is..... What exactly? The only alternative to collective human communities is solitary existence living off the land. Once you meet someone of the opposite sex and decide to reproduce, you're instantly back in the same system. Parents are the original "human farmers," and children the original livestock. So the only alternative I see is the total and complete end of the human race. Death and extinction are the only escape. Pretty cowardly and pathetic if you ask me, I generally enjoy being alive. Every living thing on this planet is in constant struggle and competition with every other living thing. Even chimpanzees band together into large groups, and attack and kill members of rival groups, even cannibalizing them. Bears kill and eat the offspring of other bears to protect their genes in the species. How exactly are we different? More "primitive" human cultures kill, rape, murder and maim each other and themselves just as much as more "advanced" cultures. So what's the alternative, other than extinction? Does anyone care to explain to me how I'm wrong? And how the fuck is Trump supposed to fix any of this?
