Turn $40 into $10 million - Grant Cardone & Warren Buffett

Grant Cardone, NY Times bestselling author, self made multimillionaire entrepreneur, international sales master and motivator in business and life offers insights and advice each week on the Cardone Zone, a show that helps people better their careers, businesses and finances so they can create true freedom in their lives. In this episode, Grant Cardone talks about long term investing and how the media leaves out important facts. He uses the example Warren Buffett saying that long term investing requires patience because if one made a $40 investment in Coca-Cola in 1919, they would have 11 million dollars today. Although Grant studies Warren Buffet he knows there are other things to consider. First, $40 in 1919 is equivalent to $515 today. In 1919 few people had $40 to invest with, Coca-Cola was an unknown brand in 1919, History impacted the stock making it likely you'd sell it, 1919 was 95 years ago so you'd be old or dead, unable to use the money. Grant then offers 5 ways in which he approaches money and investing. He advises: 1. Focus on generating income. 2. Create surplus income. 3. Set aside money that can be risked. 4. Invest in sure things. 5. Avoid investments that can be disrupted. 3. just watched this one and I agree, 2013 my stepdads passed away in a car accident. looked at my life making a whopping 8 bucks an hr. I may not be a millionaire yet, however I did something about it. I even walked away from one job that was bad for my health and mental wellness and knew it wasn't worth working there after denied the pay raise I was expecting. the company I'm at I had to go through the temp agency 2 but I went from 8 bucks an hr to almost 16. I get overtime as well. however as he said make the money first then you invest.

  9. It's not the rich vs the poor. It's that some people know how to create income, and some don't. The war, is within yourself. Don't be a solider in the war, be a warrior in your biz. Take the ultimate risk...INVEST IN YOURSELF.
  10. what is that intro song?
  11. You are a blessing and a role model with a great idea for those who make use of it. "You can hear a good advise, but if you don't heed it. It does no benefit to your system."

  17. I have been investing in Real estate for 17 years.. I am great at thinking outside the box, I even have Bankers ask me how to put deals together.. BUT I know I need to learn more to get to the next level Im stuck in a box.. I know I can do sooooo much more.. I would love to have you as a mentor..
  18. flyshit
  19. Great advice.Very simple and makes a whole lot of sense. I agree Real Estate is a sure thing, renewing RE license, no one is going to stop needing a place to live. How do you feel about the tiny house movement? Would you invest if there was a way to make $10,000 a month on each deal?
  20. You just got yourself a new subscriber. I love your approach, your thinking and the confidence in everything you say. I'm on board. Keep it up!!!
