  1. Well I tested it out with 5 Euros Note with my canon printer. It worked like wonder. Now I have an extra 5 Euro to spare and I need to destroy it.
  2. I wonder how often it happens that five o's on the page of a book happen to be arranged in the Eurion pattern and they can't print it.
  3. Just copied the new £5 note on my new Canon photocopier...
  4. Defacing currency without the intention of making it unfit for use is actually not a crime. Markers used to detect counterfeit bills aren't illegal. Bill stamps aren't illegal. It's only illegal if your intention is to make it unfit for use as currency.
  5. that sounds like a rather easy measure to get around.
  6. almost (~_~)
  7. Never apologize for short videos. I love 4 minute or so videos as you can learn so much in such a short time.
  8. All of this will not be relevant once Bitcoin takes over.
  9. Few years ago I helped my grandparents with a yard sale and we got a fake 20. Grandma said it looked fake I licked my thumb ran it across the bill and instantly new it was a photo copy bill. Real money doesn't smear. 😉
  10. Sending this video to the Federal Reserve.
  11. In fact the secret service's original job was to deter counterfeiting currency. It was only until after the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln that they were charged in the personal protection of the President of the United States.
  12. LOL
  13. I could print a 20 euro note with my printer
  14. i think people would notice if the dollar i was giving them is made out of printer paper
  15. The symbol looks like the symbol in the Australian flag of NZ.
  16. Does anyone else look at the thumbnail and see it as almost a 3D image, with the word floating above the background?
  17. When i worked in a gas station in San Francisco in the '90's and early 2000's we got plenty of computer generated $20 bills over the years, some really bad copies but, some pretty good. Early bills (without the strip inside) were used mostly. However the color was the best way to detect one (prior to the pens that were used to detect counterfeit bills).
  18. Now watch as people make copiers that call the police when they detect a dollar
  19. You can't photocopy a dollar to look like a dollar because there's something in the bill that can't be seen with reflective light.
  20. Are you saying it's illegal to destroy your own property?
