"As you know, the stock market has been more volatile than any time in recent history" - Nothing could be further from the truth. The VIX today (12/27, 2013) closed at 12.46 which is close to the bottom of its 52 week range of 11.05 - 22.72. So what's the point of this blatantly wrong statement?
