  1. Sweet video, thanks .taught me exactly what I needed.
  2. thanks for that grate video!!
  3. Great! Thank you.
  4. Great video as usual. I first learned about Stops in Rich Dad Poor Dad and I came straight to your channel to learn about it.
My question is, if I bought 1 share of FB at $86 and put a stop loss in for $80, I would only loose $5. But if I bought 100 shares at $86 where would I put the stop loss in at then?
Do I still put it in at $80 and risk loosing $500 or do I put the stop loss in close to $86, known that the nature of the market fluctuates, and etrade will automatically sell my shares when I really didn't want them to?
I hope you understand what I'm trying to ask.
  5. Good and timely. Suggestion: read from bullet points next time. You know your subject but need to reduce extranneous verbiage. Thanks!
  6. Thanks! very simple and straight forward that even I could understand. I have been wondering how to do all this for a while. Very good video. Thank you
  7. Thanks Great Vid!
  8. I think there are restrictions: stock much be at least a $1.00 at time of order (ok if it drops below afterwards) and the stock must be traded on the NY stock exchange or Nasdaq . please confirm/correct. thanks
  9. When buying with options is the stop loss option available? Very new to all of this and have watched many many videos on youtube about stocks and stock options and I think you have the best ability to actually explain in depth what you are donig and talking about.
  10. 2nd question.
lets say you just bought 1000 shares at limit 2.00$
do you immedietly press sell for 1000 at 1.50 for stop loss ?
and then when price get to 3.00 and you want out, you just perform another sell order !?
    confusing
  11. how do u adjust your stop loss as the price goes higher and you are long in trade
  12. First, thank you for posting this.

eTrade's menus seem to have changed, on trailing stops there are now two options "Upper Trigger price" and "Lower stop value"... could you post an updated video?

I trade almost exclusively in mutual funds, and I'd like to put entire positions in stop loss orders, I don't see how to do that. For instance I own 27.35 shares of SSSFX and I want to sell the whole position the next time it drops, how do I do that?
  13. Thank you for your videos, nicely explained.
  14. Thanks for the video. it helps a lot.

    1. I am wondering what kind of order type you use to sell?
    2. Why should I use stop limit on quote instead stop on quote?
    3. Is not better think about % instead $ when operating on trailing stop?

    4. do you use the same as on question 1 to buy?
  15. I appreciate your vids bro there very helpful. Im only 17 and have been interested in the stock market for a while now. I made my first trade back in december and bought 2,000 shares of ECIG at .09 a share. Then after a few weeks it was going down so as a newbie mistake I sold it immediately. Now i just recently looked back at it and the stock went up to $2.80 during the month of march. I would have made over $5,000 you dont understand how disappointed I was. But hey i just started and im not gonna let that discourage me. Your vids have been very informational for me and im actually beginning to understand options alot better due to your videos. Without your vid about how to buy a stock on etrade i would be clueless lol. Thanks man keep doing what you doing.
  16. Any thoughts on the NYSE going down today.
