I'm sorry I'm a little confused. The stock price minus the dividend yield does not equal the monthly dividend. So how is the monthly dividend amount obtained? Also do the dive ds get paid monthly or only quarterly?
What happens if you have to sock on the ex-dividend date, but you sell before the dividend payable date?
