But I want a good overall analysis and understanding of the market overall. Any suggestions? I trust your judgment and I appreciate all the help you can offer. Thanks! :-)

  11. What the best real estate book ????
  12. The rich dad poor dad series is amazing. However, they don't go over step by step with you. It's more so to change your mind about how to use your money. How to become wealthy. It doesn't tell you how to go about real estate, and all the details. It pretty much just tells you to invest. They don't talk about paper work or anything. I'm reading a how to for dummys book right now for investing. Now that, goes into great detail.
  13. Tai your videos at barnes and noble are always some of my favorite. Makes me feel like Christmas morning.
  14. Rich Dad Poor Dad is good.
  15. How I turned $1,000 into five million in real estate by William Nickerson
  16. The Millionaire Real Estate Investor by Gary Keller and Rental Property Investing By Brandon Turner are great places to start.
  17. millionaire mind
  18. Ayyy Robert Kiyosaki
  19. the richest man in babylon is a great intro into investing
  20. Tai, it's your boy Rob. You're talking about "The Millionaire Real Estate Investor" by Gary Keller. It's the holy grail of RE investing. My favorite part though, is in the preface. It's a warning to a society with a get rich quick mindset:

"I am haunted. I'm haunted by the fear that our children may lose their way in a world that values money for what it can buy and not for the good it can do. I am haunted by the idea that our children are growing up in a society that places too much emphasis on the job you have, the salary you make, and the title you wear. An impatient world measured in days, not years, and populated by instant winners, lottery lovers, and a battery of million-dollar game shows. A time when investing has become a romantic notion of high-flying day traders and IPO millionaires or, worse, has become synonymous with a crapshoot plagued by corporate scandal, worthless stock options, and bankrupt pension funds. Most of all I'm haunted that we're teaching a generation that riches come quickly or not at all."

That's the fallacy facing people today. They think if they haven't made a billion by the time they're 21 then that means they're a failure. Wrong. You have to "sculpt a life". A succesful life. A masterpiece. Achieving success despite the challenges. That's the achievement that will crown your life.
