  1. "Why We Believe in Gods" people are gullible, stupid, greedly; want the promise to live forever, want the promise of wealth, comfort and fear from death, religious persecution, (christian church burning men, women and children alive when in power like today with Islamic run countries with beheadings to the not religious.)

eradicating all criticism of religion from mainstream media e.g T.V and book shops, prey on kids minds in all schools with RE. Individuals who pretend there not religious in order to CON people back into religion, people don't want be ostracized and just follow along also parental pressures.

I heard Darwin believed in God and Darwin did not create evolution, he had his own theory called Darwinism based on evolution. This video like a lot I been looking at is hardly anything to do with the title but ends up being a devious SERMON I had to give a thumb down on this video for being so BOOOOOOOOORING and a waste of time to watch.
  2. 'gods, imaginary friends, all straw man arguments nobody is talking about anyway'
  3. No wonder you people truly believe AI will become conscious. You think specified complexity can come out of chaos. So with the conscious input of humans attempting to build AI software that is conscious it is amazing blind nature can do it unconsciously but people can't do it with the aid of the computer. A tool which should render the extra orders of magnitude of time natural selection benefited from of no advantage.
    So what gives. Create already.
  4. "people who have never even glimpsed the realm of the sacred, the infinite vastness behind that word, use it with great conviction, as if they knew what they are talking about. Or they argue against it, as if they knew what it is that they are denying. This misuse gives rise to absurd beliefs, assertions, and egoic delusions" - Eckhart tolle
  5. Why do these people dedicate their lives to try prove something they don't believe in, and never will prove? Any why do the get so angry about people who do believe in a higher power? Is there something missing in their lives?
  6. Christian try to convince atheist to believe in Jesus because it says if you don't you will face damnation, that's why we feel we have to save you, atheist have no reason why they want everyone to be atheist, I mean why should it bother you what believe in there is no logic answer
  7. wow you atheist are rude and disrespectful in the comments,😂😂 like where's your morality of being nice, if you don't believe in god fine but don't hog people who do
  8. so what about those withOUT the rhesus marker?
  9. the best examples of evolution at work are us, our languages, religions, technologies. God too evolves, it changes super fast, the God of the old testament is different from the new testament. 🔮🔫😜
  10. This seems mostly like mere speculation to me. He gives a ton of evolutionary just-so reasoning but little of anything substantive.
  11. Can't you just feel your brain cells dying off listening to recreational atheists......God, they are indeed dumb!
  12. i aint no monkeys uncle...and as far as homo go es speak for yourself
  13. agree thanks for your time
  14. When you believe in things you don't understand ,you suffer.   S Wonder
  15. I love it when ignorant preachers (is there any other kind?) say "where do you get YOUR morals?) to an atheist! Like that is a question worth anything. They say "I get mine from the bible!!!" ... Not even realizing the bible is the most IMMORAL document in all of FICTION
  16. 9:15 : always the poor, undermined and delicious brocoli...
  17. because if i don't believe in god, my dad won't buy me toys.
  18. under whelming
  19. How simplistic and lacking self awareness in analysis. The failing premise of this talk is the assumption that religious thinking is a weakness or vulnerability (or a side effect), rather than seeing the innateness of it as a necessary and useful product of our evolution. But I suppose that if you see science and facts as the pinnacle of understanding the world, this all makes sense. Jordan Peterson's theory is so much more comprehensive and sophisticate than this, and uses much more science, in a ground up theory, to explain religious thinking (and of course it's purpose, sans metaphysical places and entities). This is a top down deconstruction that conflates ideology and tribalism with religion, which is flawed. Ideology and tribalism affects alll human group endeavors.
