2. We are so entrenched in this system that it would be impossible to fight it. How many people would truly be better off if it was fought? Think about the survival skills required in the world of anarchy that would be created in its place should this system be repealed. Too many people in the West lead a reasonable comfortable life to give it up and live like cavemen again. The problem folks is that there is no alternative. Find one, then let's talk about rising up against the system. FYI I'm not a fan of the monetary system, just a realist who doesn't want to eat rats for dinner every night

6. This is the most disgusting thing that I have ever heard. When you are burning in hell come back and tell me that it is not true. The bible is backed up by evidence. Jesus Christ is real and so is God his father. We have free will that God gave us people. The things that happen in the world is caused by man of free will (get It) free will. Christianity is a way of life not a religion and it was not invented. Go read your bible and it will have science to back it up. Yes the world is one big mess because of man.     What was underwhelming however was coming down to his suggestions of standing up to establishments. His suggestions conflict with one another. If I am to stay off the grid how then am I to maintain access to the Internet for example?
    
    I need answers I want to know but don't know where to start.
12. Certainly we live in a slave society of financial chains which are held by the few elites. However, the latter part of this movie is utter Utopianism and outright, naive bullshit. Society would all get along and everyone would be happy and money wouldn't be necessary if we developed the technology to allow machines to do the work for us. We would have everything we need; all of our basic requirements would be met and people would make others subservient.
    
    So, in this society where you have everything and there's no money to act as incentive, who is going to work to design the machines? Who is going to manufacture the parts for the machines? Who is building the machines, or fixing the machines, or operating the machines? You think people are going to do it for free? Do you think they're just going to show up out of a sense of ecumenical responsibility? In another aspect, let's say you get a house on a hill over-looking the ocean. Under this guy's hypothetical, laws are gone because there's no need for them. Well, what about when your neighbor knocks on your door and wants your house because you have a better view. Are you going to say, "Oh, wow, Sorry about that. Let me pack my shit and we'll swap houses?" Or maybe you're reveling in the whole Utopian vibe and say, "Man, that's not cool of me. Why don't you come stay here?" Then.he wants your bedroom because it has a better view than his room. Then he wants your wife because she is better looking than his. This fella obviously doesn't understand jack shit about human nature. If you want more evidence, examine the hierarchical structure of primates, say Gorillas, who live without laws and without a monetary system. The concept of personal property, personal space or mutual respect doesn't exist. The alpha male sees that you have a tasty apple, comes over and takes it away. Now the alpha has a tasty apple and, if you challenged him, you're either hurt or dead. There is always subservience to the strong.

I'm reading a lot of these comments and a lot that I saw said as much as they want to change America and the world,they're gonna go back to their cozy suffocating lifestyles because they don't want to lose their comfortability. We can't let the government make us too cozy or else we'll never leave our couches and just stick to the monetary system and just be aware and saddened at what we're doing. I'm 15 and after I saw the first zeitgeist documentary I shared the same mindset as everyone in the comments;but the second documentary awoke me. You can use the elements of evil in the government to your advantage to overthrow it. You have to get up out of your beanbag before you sink too far down into it and not have motivation to change the world and awake everybody out of the zombie trance we've been put it. obviously you can't just be on some Martin Luther King Jr. type stuff and start hosting rallies,but just like a philosopher I'm studying right now who changed my life (Rene Descartes) you have to work your way up the ladder and build your power;just like the government. I wish you luck to anybody who tries to change their life for the better just like I will try my best to.
